2 Hour Studio Access | Wheel, Handbuilding & Glazing
Already taken one of our classes and not ready to stop?
Open Studio is a 2 hour independent clay session at Big Bite Studios for returning students who want more time on the tools.
This is dedicated studio time in our Abbotsford space where you can:
• Practise on the pottery wheel
• Continue handbuilding projects
• Trim leather-hard pieces
• Glaze previously fired work
• Experiment and refine at your own pace
No formal instruction. Just space to make.
A studio team member will be present for light guidance, safety oversight and kiln processing.
Who It’s For
Open Studio is available to makers who have completed:
• Try the Wheel – Beginner Pottery Experience
• Make It by Hand – Weekly Handbuilding Class
• Or another introductory class at Big Bite Studios
This ensures everyone using the space understands basic clay processes and equipment care.
What’s Included
• 2 hours studio access
• Use of pottery wheels and shared tools
• Clay (fair use policy applies)
• Glazing and kiln firing of 1 finished piece
Price: $65 per session
Additional pieces can be glazed and fired for $20 per piece.
After Your Session
Finished work will be ready for collection from our Abbotsford studio in approximately 4–6 weeks.
Postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
Due to limited storage space, all work must be collected within 2 weeks of notification.
