Open Studio — Clay & Creative Studio Time
Already taken a class and not ready to stop?
Open Studio is a 1.5 hour, clay-focused studio session designed for those who want more time to build, practise and refine their work in a relaxed, self-directed environment.
This is dedicated studio access at our Abbotsford Convent space, where you can continue working with clay, experiment with new ideas or return to paint and decorate pieces created in Clay Club.
While the focus is on clay, you’re also welcome to bring your own creative projects or spend time painting and finishing your work at your own pace.
No formal instruction. Just space to make.
A studio team member will be present for light guidance, safety oversight and kiln processing.

Who It’s For
Open Studio is best suited to those who have completed a class or have basic experience with clay.
This includes:
• Clay Club (handbuilding)
• Wheel Throwing sessions
• Or prior ceramics experience
This ensures everyone using the space is familiar with basic processes and equipment care.

$30 per session
Firing and glazing available from $20 per piece

• Wednesday & Friday
• During studio hours (11am–4pm)
Walk-ins welcome if space is available.

After Your Session
Finished work will be ready for collection from our Abbotsford studio in approximately 4–6 weeks.
Postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
Due to limited storage space, all work must be collected within 2 weeks of notification.
